Apple Creating a Virtual and Augmented Reality Tech?
VR or virtual reality is still in its early stage of life. Soon we will be seeing VR headsets everywhere. When Facebook acquired Oculus for $2 billion dollars, everyone stopped and thought where is Facebook going with this? However, if you have seen the latest videos on VR, then you will know why. It is the future and it will be everywhere. The internet evolved to share information and to connect people from around the world. The internet was also invented for porn. That’s right. Porn is a big industry player on the internet and when porn hits a new technology such as VR headsets it will catapult VR headsets to every single, lonely, horny male/female around the world. Look at how big our Phones are now a days. It’s one of the reasons why phones have gotten bigger was when we realized that we can watch porn on them. It was a joke a from reddit, but however it’s funny because there’s some truth in it.

Apple is finally realizing that VR is the future and has hired Doug Bowman, a top virtual and augmented reality researcher to help expedite the technology for Apple. Apple is also hiring hardware engineers to work on display and projections systems for VR. Apple has been interested in VR since 2013, with their acquisition of PrimeSense. Apple has hundreds of staff from previous acquisitions including past employees from Microsoft’s HoloLens team as well as Lytro. Finally, in today’s news Apple has acquired Flyby Media, a company that worked with Google in developing some of the 3D positioning software for Project Tango. Looks like Apple is getting serious with VR tech.
