Tesla Model 3 Reservations ($1000 Down) Will Be Accepted in Tesla Store March 31st And Online April 1st
Elon Musk’s announces via twitter that the Model 3 will be accepting reservations on March 31 in stores and online April 1. It will be $1000 down and the Model 3 will be around ~$35,000. Elon Musk may have made this announcement after losing so much money in the stock market. Musk put his own money on the line again after he excercised 532,000 of his options in Tesla or about $100 million worth earlier this year. But now that Tesla shares are down to about $143.67 a share compared to ~$230 a share back in January. Musk’s tweets have a big influence in the stock market -he has the power to make it go up. And after announcing the Model 3 reservations I believe the stock will probably be back up on 2/11/2016. If you look at the after hours trading the stock price of TSLA shot up towards $164.9 after Musk’s Tweet of the Model 3 -then back down to $149. Who knows what we will see in the starting bell of the stock market on 2/11/16. Maybe the Model 3 will save TSLA from its falling stock price.
