The latest ITX motherboard for Intel’s new socket LGA 2066 have been out of stock since its release date (ASRock X299E-ITX). Recently, there has been a high demand for new ITX motherboards.

For instance, when AMD’s Ryzen CPUs came out, a lot of people were disappointed in the lack of ITX motherboards that were not available with the Ryzen release. However, as time went on, motherboard manufacturers came out with ITX motherboards for Ryzen and they were instantly sold out.

There is a trend here -each new motherboard chipset along with a new ITX motherboard -have always sold out on release date. The people want smaller desktop computers and they want to build it on their own. The people just need the hardware to do it. This group of people are known as the Small Form Factor (SFF) PC community or enthusiasts.

On Newegg.com the new ITX X299 motherboard from ASRock has been sold out since its launch. People want more power in a smaller form factor. This is the new trend and its not going away.
