New E-Ink Remote By Sony.

Tired of having too many remotes? A remote for the blu-ray player, tv, sound system, cable box, apple tv, chromecast, etc. It seems like we have too many remotes these days. Sony’s solution might solve all that with its new e-ink universal remote. E-ink doesn’t consume a lot of power and will last much longer than traditional lcd/oled displays. It is the reason why Sony went with e-ink. The new universal remote will do away with all those remote controls that pains us. Is this finally the universal remote we have been looking for? It kinda looks like Amazon’s Kindle E-reader. The remote costs around ~$241.80 and is available in Japan. Sony employees are part of a new business creation program called First Flight, and this remote was part of that program -where Sony employees crowdfund new products.
