Every now and then, I always have to do a fresh install of Windows 10 on my computer. This ensures that I have a smooth running operating system and no viruses, malware, spyware, etc on my computer. I do this whenever I feel my computer is “bloated”. This will act as a fresh start and in turn keep my computer healthy. However, doing this fresh installation of Windows is a hassle because it does delete every program and data that you have on your computer. You always have to make sure you back up your personal files and keep a list of programs you have to reinstall.

Whenever you buy new computers from Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, etc -there is always bloat software installed on the computer. This bloat software are sometimes trial programs that you have to buy later on if you want to keep using them. If you don’t use the bloat software, this will use up your storage on your hard drive, and may slow down your computer if the program is running in the background. And if the program automatically starts when Windows starts. There are many bloated software that are on newly bought computers that always slow down your computer. This is why it’s very important to do a fresh install of Windows 10 -so that you just have the essential programs running and not useless programs that will eat up your memory, CPU usage, hard drive usage, etc.
Always backup your data:
Since you are deleting everything on your hard drive, it is very important to backup your data. I recommend multiple external hard drives to keep your data safe. Remember to backup your documents, pictures, downloads, videos, or anything that is important to you that is worth saving. I always try to keep my files separately and on my desktop for easy access and to also easily backup my files.

This ensures that you have the latest drivers and security updates from Windows 10 to keep a healthy computer.
