AMD’s Ryzen prices have been leaked!
There has been a lot of hype about these new AMD CPUs that are about to be released in a couple of weeks. If you are out of the loop, here is the short version. AMD created something that will make Intel shit their pants. AMD created Ryzen – a new CPU lineup that will compete with Intel’s $1000 dollar CPUs. But the difference is Ryzen CPUs are going to $400-300 dollars. That’s a whopping $600 dollars less than Intel’s CPUs! That is about 70% cheaper than Intel’s CPUs and have the same, if not better performance. Cheaper and same level performance? Intel should be shaking in their boots.

If you go on the forums lately, people are actually telling other PC enthusiasts to wait for Ryzen in a couple of weeks before buying any Intel CPUs. Check this thread out on reddit.com/r/sffpc. Redditor is asking for help with a PC build. Redditenmo responds with:

Ryzen chips will be out in 2 weeks & intel have just announced 2 new k chips for the can’t lake lineup, an i5 with hyper threading & a slightly faster i7.
