Toyota’s Thermo-Tect Will Help Your Car Stay Cooler.

With the introduction to its new 2016 Prius, Toyota has some cool new features that will keep your car cooler in the sun. They are calling it Thermo-Tect. Thermo-Tect will keep your car cooler by having removing the carbon black particles found in most cars and replaces them with titanium oxide that helps reflect solar heat. This new technology will decrease the amount of heat your car retains from the sun and in turn keep you cooler inside -this will reduce your A/C use in the heat -saving you gas. Pretty smart from Toyota. They are always trying to improve ways to be more efficient. The Thermo-Tect feature will be an add on of course setting you back ~$381. It is only available in Japan, but hopefully we will see Toyota rolling this feature out worldwide.
